Built in 2016, this Modern Industrial Farmhouse fulfilled a personal dream. Loosely based on a house plan found online, Alexander modified the floor plan to include a foyer, walk-in pantry, mudroom and guest suite on the second floor.
"Our top priority was building a beautiful home that performed at a very high level of sustainability. We selected a site with a perfect south-facing orientation to take advantage of passive solar heat gains. The home is extremely well insulated — built with 12" double stud walls filled with dense pack cellulose. It utilizes a geothermal system for heating and cooling and solar panels which bring the home to net-zero."
